Having a solid ESG policy, supported by environmental, social and governance pillars, is an essential characteristic for companies that genuinely seek to make a difference.
We, at Agros, are attentive, and always seek to balance all the factors involved in the ecosystem around us, aligning our purpose of democratizing technology, the ESG pillars and the essential financial health of our activities. This is sustainability!
As we are not a company of talk, but of action, we invite you who read us to browse the icons below and learn a little more about each of the actions that support our ESG policy.
Welcome to the Building New Stories in the Field project!
Aligned with Resolution 72/239 of the United Nations (UN), which defined this as the decade of family farming, we developed an initiative especially aimed at this part of Agriculture, which seeks to address 03 critical factors highlighted by the organization:
1) The lack of technical assistance in family farming
2) The need to enhance the role of women in family farming
3) Difficulties with family succession (exodus of rural youth)
To this end, we provide, completely free of charge, to family farming associations, through agreements, the following initiatives:
Dedicated to family farmers
Technical team dedicated exclusively to farmers associated with the partner entity, with the aim of raising the level of knowledge and professionalism of small properties through face-to-face visits, analyses, diagnoses and solutions that return profits to the property.
The Protagonism of Women in Family Farming
Conducting face-to-face workshops with groups of women farmers associated with the partner entity, aiming to discuss their roles in the family farming ecosystem, as well as stimulating leadership and empowerment.
Rural Succession in Family Farming
Conducting face-to-face workshops with groups of young farmers to understand the reasons that lead them to want to escape the rural environment, as well as developing initiatives and policies that bring them closer to innovation and knowledge and contribute to retaining these talents in the field.

From the origin, in the choice of our raw materials and suppliers, to the production and delivery process, we always look for alternatives that are aligned with the principles of the circular economy and produce the lowest environmental impact.
Our raw materials come from vegetable and mineral sources. Initiatives such as reverse logistics and environmental quality seals are determining characteristics in defining our suppliers.
Our production process works in a circular system. In other words, Agros does not produce industrial effluents in its production operation, reusing the water used for internal hygiene of the reactors to carry out new production.
We define our main logistics and transport partner by their choice to use biodiesel to fuel their trucks, which, as it does not contain sulfur in its composition, significantly reduces pollutant emissions.
An ecologically balanced environment is essential to guarantee the safety of future generations, and our commitment is to do more and more, in the search for excellence in sustainability.
We consider that corporate governance is like the common thread that runs through all the company's operations and relationships so that it can fulfill its planning, minimize negative impacts and enhance positive ones.
We understand that it is the basis of all ESG initiatives, practices and projects, largely because it is precisely its role to ensure that there is cohesion between Social and Environmental projects and the direct objectives of the business itself.
Therefore, our governance criteria are guided by a vision of sustainable development, where we aim for profit and wealth, as long as they are built in balance with our social and environmental principles.
We strive for ethics and transparency, seeking employees who follow these same principles. We have a solid anti-corruption and prejudice policy, with zero tolerance for anyone who disrespects them.
The control of our authorization acts is rigorous and constant, with the duties and obligations imposed by the control bodies being respected without any room for flexibility.
Transparency and regularity with tax and social charges, the smoothness of our transactions and the precision in the numbers of expenses, revenues and profits, are a constant feature within the operation.
Complying with all these criteria is not an isolated challenge. In fact, it is a constant journey of adjustment and monitoring, which allows us to improve more every day, always in search of excellence.
Democratize technology, bringing high profitability to small, medium and large rural producers.
